Hello, my name is Melody Kikkert and I am currently the St. John Township Assessor.
I was elected as your St. John Township Assessor in November of 2010 and my predecessor, Hank Adams, was elected Lake County Assessor. Before I was elected, I worked for the St. John Township Assessor’s office for 3 years and had been involved in the real estate market for 13 years before that.

The State mandated reassessment is moving along, as we continue doing it in house rather than though overpriced and wasteful contractors.
